★ ★ ★ ★ ★ műholdas technológia terjedésével mára feleslegessé váltak. A tornyok egy részét fémgyűjtők kifosztották, megrongálták, míg mások eredeti rendeltetési céljukkal szemben adótoronyként, megfigyelőállomásként vagy kilátóként élnek tovább.
A tornyok legnagyobb része nehezen megközelíthető, eldugott helyen található, gyakran a jelzett turistautaktól távol, néha elkerített területen. A tornyok felkeresése nem kis kalandot ígérő időtöltés, miközben kevésbé ismert tájakat fedezhetünk fel.
Az országban 107 ilyen torony épült, és még térképpel, céltudatos kereséssel is komoly feladat ezekre rábukkanni, hacsak nem használ valamilyen segédeszközt a túrázó. Éppen ezért, és a túramozgalom alapelvével összhangban megadjuk a tornyok GPS pozícióit. (A magasság értékek csak tájékoztató jellegűek.) A csatolt dokumentumok közül megtalálja a GPS-be tölthető koodinátátákat (GPX és GDB formátumban, de becsomagolva), amely adatok a turistautak.hu oldalról származnak.

Most of the towers are difficult to access, located in a secluded location, often away from marked hiking trails, sometimes in a fenced area. Visiting the towers is a no-brainer while exploring lesser-known landscapes.
107 such towers have been built in the country, and even with a map and a purposeful search, it is a serious task to find them, unless the hiker uses some kind of aid. That is why, and in accordance with the principle of the hiking movement, we give the GPS positions of the towers. (The altitude values are for information only.) From the attached documents you will find the coordinate coordinates that can be loaded into the GPS (in GPX and GDB format, but packaged), which data are from turistautak.hu.
