I think the spa need reconstruction. But I will give highest score because it's one of my best favourite place in Hungary.

It is a traditional spa in Hungary, even our grandparents came here to heal. The audience is according to that, you rarely see anyone under 60. The staff is nice and helpful enough if you tell them you are a first time visitor. The inner and outer pools are connected, so you can go outside while staying in the water. They have lots of recreational services, massage, mud packing, etc. Those are significantly cheaper than in Budapest. Don't miss the jacuzzis and other special pools on the second floor! One thing to mention: as the water is a sulphuric one, it has a very special smell. I wouldn't say it is a bad one, but strange to experience it for the first time. A tip: if you don't rent a box for your things, you can use the dress storage, which is for free, you get a number which you can strap to your arm. However, the method is quite special, as you enter one the changing places, you find a hanger and a closed window. The hanger has a small pouch, too, for your shoes, e.g. when you finished, you open the window and a staff shoes up, taking your stuff and giving you a number.

What a disappointment! The price of 2.400 ft in the afternoon for 3 hours is already pretty high. When we entered at the end of August, we had to figure out that only two pools where open and the waterslides were shut off. Also barely any food stand was open. At the entrance we asked for a refund because asking for the full summer season price when not even half of the business is opened is very unreasonable. Apparently they informed every visitor about the situation and they can't give a refund. Well, they have not informed us. So we decided to stay. One of the pools which was open was the 50 m swimming pool, but only till 5 pm when a group of children started with their training. I rather recommend to visit the spa in Siklós, which is cheaper and has also more two offer. Compared to Harkány it looks better because the building in Siklos is newer aswell and you don't have to be afraid to cut your feet on the broken tiles which can be found in Harkány.

Beautifle place to relax and enjoy

It is a very relaxing and fun experience. Traditional thermal spa with outdoor and indoor pools with indoor slides. It is very cheap compare the services it provides. The restaurant in the bath had great food and lots of options.

Although expanded with pools for children, still not family friendly: no changing room for families. You cannot go into the children’s pool with your little one. The pools of HarkaVilág department are also pretty deep. On the other hand the thermal water is very special, no one can argue with that.
