Wonderful place, at the beginning of Martonyi village, turn left to the TV tower. In the middle of the hill there will be an asphalt road turning right until then. Beautiful environment nicely arranged.

We visited the TWO TOUR route with a small detour. It is worth relaxing a bit in this place.

Turn right in front of Martonyi, here is an information board to help you reach your destination. You have to continue on a relatively good road through the cultivated area and straight up from the edge of the forest to a left turn. Here, a sign on the right side of the road warns us that we have arrived in a highly protected natural area. You don't have to go on the asphalt road anymore, park your car here. A wooden sign indicates where to approach the ruins, which can be reached with a comfortable walk. Receptive place, it is worth spending approx. 2 hours.

A part of a very nice quiet environment that was demolished but slowly re-roofed. It is worth visiting during a hike. We approached us from Toenabarakony on the blue hiking route where after about 10 km and 300m level difference we reached a small detour (300 m).

Before we reach Martonyi, a narrow, winding asphalt road leads up to the hillside in front of the village. There’s a transmitter tower at the end of the road, but you don’t have to go until then. To the right of the road there will be a clearly visible fork in the green / blue L sign that will take you between the trees. You can leave the car here. Although anyone who likes to walk at the bottom of the village can leave. A sign in the parking lot indicates where to go to the ruin. From here a loose 1.5 km forest walk. A well-walked stony forest road leads through a beautiful hornbeam. It is not steep, there is no catch, it is pleasantly cool. Huge forest ants rise on both sides of the road. There are a lot of ants in these places and they are not afraid to pinch. So standing up is not a very good idea. The ruin and its surroundings are easy to explore. It's neatly tidy. Work is still in progress so it is covered with foil here. But still, the small church with its Gothic pillars and windows is impressive. There is great cool air inside the church. It's worth staying here for a while.
