★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The atmosphere of the place is really authentic, and the hosts, Orsi and Ákos are great. Breakfast is really nice. The place is being modernized step by step with taking care to preserve its original character. Very recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Hotel is on the Main Street and is 15 minutes walk from the bus station. Room is on the first floor so guess need to walk up a few steps. Room is clean with good AC and WiFi. Check in is very smooth and the host is super friendly.. Negative: The bathroom does not have shower liquid and shampoo. Also there is no glass in the bathroom (though I guess I can ask for). The shower curtain is not that good to cover the entire area and water got spilled after taking a shower. Your room key will be put in the mailbox upon checkout. I just notice that the gate is locked after I deposited the key , and need to wait for a while for the receptionist to get me out the hotel. The key deposit box should be outside, not inside, the hotel. Also The receptionist may not be available in office, in case you need help..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Room was warm, clean and comfortable and situated in a quiet streeet but was less than 5 minutes walk from the castle and main square with the majority of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. Large room with TV and fridge and a large kitchen downstairs for cooking. And the staff were very helpful. Eger itself is a lovely little town full of atmosphere and well worth a visit..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Super location, the building has an authentical atmosphere and very friendly prices. I felt like traveling in time, two-three-centuries back.. Negative: The moving door of the shower cabin was missing, so I needed to beware, not to splash put too much water off the shower cabin. It must be repaired..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The guesthouse is at a very good location. Close to the Dobó Square and the Eger Castle. The kitchen is quite spacious and beside it is a nice hall. Just prepare your meal and eat in the hall... or eat at the backyard in open air. The room is very comfortable. The house is a lovely old building. Thank you for all your concern, Viktória.. Negative: The only issue for me was the shower bath in the common bathroom. It has got no doors or any other means of cover. It's not still much of a problem, though, of you're the only one to use it..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Everything was perfect! It’s located close to all main attractions in the town, approximately 10 mins to the Square. The room is quite big with all necessary things such as towel, fridge, etc.. Negative: There was no internet connection in my room at all! That disappointed me a little bit :(.
