Nice little chapel with a good view from the hill. Worth a visit.

The first little chapel on Mount Rome, now extinct, dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Fruit, was built in the 1700s. The year of its bell is 1763, this bell now lives in the tower of the new chapel. The old chapel, in poor condition, was to be demolished as early as 1815, but it was not until the early 20th century that it was decided to build the new one. In 1903, they began organizing a collection for the construction, and since many donated (not only money but also material, and the plot was donated by the Gundy family), construction could soon begin under the direction of mason Lajos Domján. It was consecrated on September 9, 1906 by the Bishop of St. Balázs Herbay, the ceremony was attended by many city dwellers, and the ceremony was greeted with mortar shots early in the morning. Since then, the chapel has undergone some renovations, during which its appearance has been simplified, and some of the exterior decorative elements have disappeared. It was last renovated in 2000 and has been in very good condition ever since. Her farewell will be held on August 5, also called the Chapel of Our Lady of the Snow.
