★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Úgy vettem észre magamon, hogy nagy intenzitással vadászom a Mária-kegyhelyeket, azon belül is külön a Lourdes-i barlangokat. Nincs is olyan sok Magyarországon, a felét már talán láttam is. Ez a herceghalmi Mária jól elbújt. Szokatlan módon a temetőben van, a sarokban, fák és bokrok takarásában.
Hiányzik a képből Szent Bernadett, aki gyereként tanúja volt annak, aminek más nem. Így tehát Mária magányosan virraszt a település határában lévő temető sarkában.
 I noticed myself hunting the shrines of Mary with great intensity, especially the caves of Lourdes. There aren't that many in Hungary, I've probably seen half of them. This Mary of Princes hid well. Unusually, it is in the cemetery, in the corner, covered with trees and bushes.
Missing from the picture is St. Bernadette, who as a child witnessed what no one else did. Thus, Mary watches alone in the corner of the cemetery on the outskirts of the settlement.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Herceghalomban a hadifogságból visszatérők tiszteletére építették a "Lourdes-i barlangot", valószínűleg 1950-1956 között, az akkori katolikus közösség adományaiból.
In Herceghalom, the "Lourdes Cave" was built in honor of those returning from captivity, probably between 1950 and 1956, from donations from the Catholic community at the time.
