Ворота героев Достопримечательности Ворота, расположенные на площади Юриспруденции, были построены в 1932 году и вскоре стали одной из эмблем города. С его вершины открывается чудесный вид на горы и Старый город. На месте нынешних Ворот Героев (или Башни Героев ) изначально находился самый важный вход в город, называемый Южными Воротами или Нижней Башней, который был построен в 14 веке . Она была снесена в 1880 году и к 400 -летию осады Кёсега была заменена нынешней башней. Башня получила свое название от мемориальных досок на ее боках, посвященных памяти павших жертв турецких войн и Первой мировой войны. Флорис Опатерни спроектировал 27-метровую башню в эклектичном стиле. Здесь есть панорамная терраса , с которой посетители могут полюбоваться видом на центр города Кёсег и холмы, окружающие Кёсег. It is difficult to take a beautiful historical place out of context, it is these gates that are all carious around. Gate of Heroes sights The gate, located on Jurisprudence Square, was built in 1932 and soon became one of the emblems of the city. From its top, a wonderful view of the mountains and the Old Town opens up. The site of the current Heroes' Gate (or Heroes' Tower) was originally the most important entrance to the city, called the South Gate or Lower Tower, which was built in the 14th century. It was demolished in 1880 and replaced by the current tower on the 400th anniversary of the siege of Kőszeg. The tower takes its name from the plaques on its sides commemorating the fallen victims of the Turkish Wars and the First World War. Floris Opaterni designed the 27-meter tower in an eclectic style. There is a panoramic terrace from which visitors can admire the view of the city center of Kőszeg and the hills surrounding Kőszeg.

A	Attila Szilágyi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You may buy a combined ticket in the Jellasics Castle with which you can visit three exhibits near to each other: the Local Historical Museum, the Golden Unicorn Pharmacy Museum and the Heroe's Gate Tower Museum and Viewpoint. Interesting history, nice view from the towers, lovely small chapels and cafés just around a cozy town square.
