Nem tudom kivel sikerült beszélnem telefonon, de ordenáré paraszt volt. Sajnos a rendelőig így el sem jutottam.

Korrekt volt, előzetes egyeztetés alapján mentem, előtte telefonon konzultáltunk telemedicina keretein belül, az asszisztens akkor is segítőkész volt. Másnap, amikor a rendelőbe érkeztem a megbeszéltek alapján, minimális várakozás után nagyon kedves és informatív, modern ellátást kaptam - a doktor úr szakmailag kiváló. Ráadásul nagyon szépen beszél angolul - épp egy angol pácienssel konzultált telefonon az érkezésemkor. Emellett még egy nagyon jó, saját honlapja is van - ilyet azért ritka háziorvosok esetében látni.

They refused to help me because I was speaking english!

They refused to help my fiancee who is pregnant and had high fever. She has EU insurance card, but they said she is not from the district... Shame on them.

True personal experience here. My GP Dr. Geza Hilgert does speak English when I registered my info to him. Anyway on 17 August, I had a stomach pain since morning, and came here to see Dr. Geza in the afternoon without an appointment. I rang the bell (because of covid 19 you have to wait outside), unfortunately, he's not there! The nurse came out but she can't speak English, I had to point it out to her I was suffering from stomach pain. Luckily, she called another doctor out who can speak good English. Doc said he could check me up with 3000 ft service fee because it supposed to be my GP's job. I agreed with it. Then he took me in and had checked me up carefully. Finally he came to a conclusion that I might have appendicitis but needed to run more tests. He wrote down everything in Hungarian in case of language barrier, and pointed me to go emergency center in szent laszlo hospital with 20min walking distance. At the end he didn't ask for the 3k forint cuz he said it's emergency. So I went to the emergency center in szent laszlo hospital on the same day, the doctors there run a few tests on me and it turned out to be appendicitis! Then they operated on me immediately, and had me hospitalized for 3 days. It has been more than 2 weeks now, I feel much better, and am still slowly recovering. If I didn't meet the doctor here, it could have been really worse! Pity that I didn't know/even ask for the doctor's name. But I wrote this much to say thank you to him, and to the nurse, and to the other really kind intern(?) doctor. It's them who truly make this country beautiful.
