Best place where I have ever been. While I took images for the Homoki, I enjoyed the hospitality there for 2 days. I highly recommend to visit and stay in Homoki, you will want to come back.

Super chill, country chic lodge. We still haven't seen any giraffes or elephants, but the tents are cozy, the food is good and the staff is very friendly.

Outrageous prices for a regular service (e.g. 6€ for a litre of water, 4'80€ for a beer), every little thing has to be payed extra (even eggs are not included in the "traditional hungarian breakfast"). Expensive menu that leaves you hungry; not what you would expect comming back tired from a horseback riding tour. I asked for a second serving, which in turn costed 15€ extra. I have been sitting on the horse since before I could walk and also worked as a riding guide on several farms. The horses we tried in Homoki Lodge were unsensitive and very uncomfortable from beeing used so much by unexperienced tourists. We are experiencied riders and payed for a weeklong riding programm, but left after 4 days, because we couldn't take it anymore. The austrian hosts didn't seem to be interested in our wellbeing, the main interest was getting out as much money as possible from us guests.

In the yurt we almost ran out of oxigen, cause the ventillation is not properly solved. The water is not drinkable, and they gave with the yurt only half liter water, after each half liter would cost 1000 Ft, which I think crazy, comparing with the normal 60 Ft/2 liter bottled one from the shop. The toilet got wrong, and flushed itself all night, so we could barely sleep. The breakfast was small, and you couldn't choose, what u wanna eat, there was 1 half-boiled egg, 2 slice of ham, 3 little piece of sausages, and 2 slices of cheese...the yurt wasn't really authentic even. For 115.000 Ft, we hoped for kind luxurious glamping...we are disappointed...no extras included, you should pay even for the sauna and bicycle separately...also after 1/2 an hour driving on sand you can get there, so to reach a good restaurant it would take an hour...they have their own, but it's 7000/person, it's better to go to any other restaurant in Mórahalom, they have hudge collection of very delicious, and normal amount of food, you can take away the other half there, so u have food for 2 days even...and a normal menu in that region costs at most 4000 Ft, and it's way more tasty...

We have been at Homoki Lodge for a week and just felt to give feedback. The holiday was amazing! Horse riding to the top with long trots, canters and gallops, even more than I could have imagined. Horses were very fit and well cared for and very predictable nothing scared them. The Homoki Lodge team made us feel welcome, introducing us to Hungarian culture away from the city and the locals were so friendly and arm towards us. I have to mention, that there was so delicate food for all meals and the Hungarian handcrafted beer is remarkably rich in taste. We loved the outstanding accommodations of the yurts and the resort is a hidden gem far apart from this hectic world. I would recommend this holiday to everyone who is open to nature experiences and I hope one day I can return for another unforgettable holiday.

The food was the best I’ve had in Europe yet, they have affordable wine to chose from, and the dining room was beautiful. They even got a design award for it. It’s quite romantic. I stayed in the house with 2 bedrooms which is a traditional style. The bathtub was great for long soaks and the bed was great too. The horses were well taken care of, loved to move out, and safe. The owners and staff were very kind to me! The staff arranged to have a car pick me up from a nearby town that I spent one night in beforehand to experience something other than Budapest. I highly recommend.

We had starter, main course and dessert, and were not satisfied. So we had to order another meal to not go to bed hungry. In total, it is completely overpriced. We paid 50 euros, just for one night to bring the dog. The stuff was very friendly. But we will not come back!
