Mivel a Bükkbe lezúduló intenzív csapadék gyakran villámáradásokat okozott, megépítették a Szoros patakon azt a víztározót, melyből a horgászok „édenkertje” lett. Bogács és Mezőkövesd megszabadult a pusztító ártól, a pecások egy remek hellyel gazdagodtak. A közel 20 hektáros tó kristálytiszta vizén ottjártamkor a Bükk kőtömege járt táncot. A jól karbantartott tóban tilos fürdeni, az egyetlen elfogadható vízijármű a csónak. Fogtak már itt 60 kilós harcsát, 55 kilós busát és 3 és fél kilós dévért is. Ha eleged van a világból, akkor csak lejössz a tópartra, leülsz, elvarázsolva nézed a tó vizén reszkető hegycsúcsokat. Pataki Attilát kicsit kiforgatva: Ettől minden szép.
