The best bakery I've ever been to. Everything is divine delicious and there is no work in the products. I love sandwiches and their cinnamon sour cherry snails. They are always kind and smiling. If you go to this, sit in for breakfast, it's worth it!

The toothpaste and strudel are delicious. Prices are a bit high, but bakers also have to make a living.?

We had a really pleasant experience at the bakery: During a motorbike tour, we stopped to rest, look around, and by the time we took off our motorbike jacket, a smiling gentleman came out of the bakery with a tray of pastries, welcoming us, unknown bikers. The gesture went amazingly well, thank you again: the team looking for the furry bread :-)

The Horváth Bakery (at the moment, to the best of my knowledge) has two shops in Zirc: one is the former (Cuha) restaurant, later Erste Bank, now next to K&H Bank (Széchenyi utca), opposite the Mayor's Office, the other is Rákóczi tér 15. in the OTP house. He came here when I worked for the municipality as an employee in charge of public spaces, among other things. Maybe the owner's palace was the owner / company then, today I don't know where it is based. But to be sure, he was the kind of savage-minded entrepreneur who thinks he can achieve anything with connections and strength. And really. During the reconstruction and operation of the first shop on Széchenyi Street, he violated the city regulations and traffic rules. He arranged for the road manager to relocate the no-stop sign without the city's knowledge so that it would no longer apply to the section in front of his new business (this restriction was imposed by the police at the initiative of the police many, many years before the exit to road 82 was dangerous). This is very difficult to restore. True, during the renovation of Route 82 a few years ago, he only managed to get out of the no-stop / no-load transport, which of course immediately resulted in anyone stopping at any time, rushing into the bakery and claiming to be freight. Although the company's permit states that the goods will be transported from Petőfi utca to the company's registered address. And, of course, the previous accident-threatening situation has been restored, that when we arrive from Petőfi Street we do not see anything from the traffic coming from the left. They may be selling some delicious pastries (although once a family member bought a half-pound loaf of bread from Horváth in which a well-developed beetle crawled back without a word), I have no illusions, no bakery works from its own material, and two shops in Horváth Bakery do the same. it bakes mass goods like the Albanian (?) bakery of the Rákóczi tér bus stop, or like Penny or Tesco. The Rákóczi tér shop of the Horváth bakery is in a busy bus stop. The store is supplied with goods from the bakery of the Széchenyi Street store, from dawn to late evening, with countless transports for fresh goods. But there is no legal stop / waiting option in front of the store, according to the traffic sign, they could only legally deliver the goods from the back (from the OTP yard). But not. Countless times a day - as evidenced by the multitude of photographs - the retailer stops at the bus stop, gets up on the paved sidewalk, drives between those waiting for the bus (often schoolchildren) to get the trays to the store in the shortest possible way. Everyone sees this. You know. Multiple blog posts. But neither the municipality nor the police do anything or pretend the problem doesn’t exist. This will presumably cost the Horváth bakery money because there are rumors that pastry donations will occasionally travel to the other side of Route 82 to the Mayor's Office, or that it will support certain law enforcement agencies with a significant amount of money. But it is certain that the entrepreneurial mentality / unrestrained discourages at least one customer from shopping in any of the shops in Horváth Bakery.

In the summer when we were in the area we shopped here several times. The selection is great and the service is normal. You can also pay by card and cash. It was made from bread that was delicious, the pizza was made with some forgetful, concentrated, oily, low-quality cheese and ham, but one of their chocolate cherries was very delicious. Not the cheapest in the countryside, but there are quite a few products that are worth the price.
