★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Az újszászi temetőben a Hősök emlékművét avattàk fel 2001. május 26-án, az ismeretlen magyar katona sírján. A Turza Ferenc (1945-2016) helyi szobrászművész által készített emlékművet, felirata szerint, a nemzetünkért elesett hősök emlékének szentelték.
Az emlékművön két dombormű és a tetején egy turulmadár látható.
 The monument to the Heroes was unveiled in the Újszász cemetery on May 26, 2001, on the grave of an unknown Hungarian soldier. The monument, made by the local sculptor Ferenc Turza (1945-2016), is dedicated to the memory of the heroes who fell for our nation.
The monument features two reliefs and a turf bird at the top.
