The Heroes' Cemetery is a closed cemetery in Nyíregyháza. It was opened in 1915 and has over 2,000 soldiers, including many foreigners who lost their lives in the First World War. The present-day cemetery is only a fraction of what it actually was during World War II, as the edge of the cemetery has reached the line of the railroad that still operates today.
