Szép hotel. Szép szobák, finom ételek a szakács nagyon kedves volt velünk sütött amerikai palacsintát soron kívül. Wellness az csúcskategóriás jacuzzit imádom szauna jó élménymedence is klassz. A tulajdonos is nagyon kedves nem sok szállodában van ilyen hogy mindenkihez odajön és beszélget a vendégekkel Meg még kiemelném a recepcióst ő is nagyon kedves vagy ő vagy a tulajdonos ad a gyerekeknek ?-t akváriumban is cuki halak vannak. Nagyon szép a kilátás a bástya tetejéről látni pl. Badacsonyt Az elhelyezkedés is nagyon jó néhány percre van a vasútállomás meg a szabadstrand is 0,5 km kb. A szállodát nagyon ajánlom. Mozgáskorlátozottaknak óvatosan a lépcsővel!

Very very bad place.

This place is a scam!!! We booked this place through airbnb and we planned for the national holiday weekend. When we got there the contact person said that she no longer works there & the owner said that they don't do Airbnb's but we could stay there for three times what we already paid on airbnb. Never go to this place.

Worst hospitality! Worst staff ! The owner himself kicked us out of the hotel for no apparent reason. We booked the place through airbnb and when we got there they didnt have our booking and said if we didnt go out they will call the police. The owner is very arrogant and over himself. He pushed one of our friends out of the door and closed the door in our faces. Do NOT go to this place.

NEVER GO THERE!!!!!!!! It's not worth any star, I travel all over the world but this is the worst place I have ever been in.....! The rooms are filthy... It is not the fault of the staff they are all afraid of the owner. I wanted the money back from me and my friends because the owner became rude against my friends wife and her husband. The owner didn't want to give the money back and became rude against me as well. The owner noticed that I became more and more angry and was about to put my fist in to his face, the owner took his wallet and paid us the 180 Euro. When I went outside he made a last remark, that he new where I live, I barged back inside, if there where not the three man who stopped me, I would have knocked him down. I never have problems, but this owner was able to get me that far. Several people can vouch for me. I wish you a wonderful holiday but please don't go to Hotel Balaton!!! If you do go there, it will be the biggest mistake you ever make...!

This place is a scam. We booked this place on airbnb and the host didn't even show up saying that they no longer do airbnb. We were left stranded in that town with 6 children and no place to stay because of the national holiday in Hungary. I am apalled that airbnb allows scams like this to happen. I read the reviews and this has happened to a number of people. Don't airbnb see that they are losing customers with scams like this??

We made our reservation through AirBnB, and the hotel was using the service as a means to scam people!!! As soon as we entered and said we are here for our reservation through Airbnb, the front desk people turned VERY hostile. The owner proceeded to come out and the first thing he said was “if you don’t like it, go to the police”. So much for a proper conversation. We tried to negotiate and ask for our money back or help from them to find another accommodation. They proceeded to get angrier and tried to physically push us out of the hotel. Keep in mind we were just peacefully standing there waiting. Please never book at this hotel, regardless or not you book properly, they don’t deserve your money. Make sure to find a better place than this because any place would be.

Avoid to book this place by any means!!! It is a fake. We booked this place for 9 people (7 adults, 2 small children). The host was unresponsive over Airbnb therefore I called the given number (Bettina) where they confirmed 2 weeks before our arrival that everything is fine with our reservation. They said I should call back once more on the day before we would arrive. I did so and then she said she is not working there anymore and I have not talked with her, even though I recognized the voice and I have the call still saved in my calling history. She suggested I call the owner directly which I did unfortunately... He just simply hangs up on people, talks in a disgusting, swearing and harassing way in front of small children... I still get shivers if I think about how he spoke to us, horrible person... He should  literally be arrested rather than letting him run an accomodation of any sort... Because of him we were left on the same day without a place to stay at, of course the cost for the accomodation was not a problem to directly take from our account... I repeat AVOID UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!
