The building is a real gem from the 19th century with a uniqe charm. Its price - value ratio is unbeatable, plus the hotel has an underground garage accessible from a street behind the hotel. Everything which is importand for a traveller in Pécs is in walking distance. Suitable for shorter or even longer holidays/trips.
H	Hello Lastname on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rooms are tiny, you will bump your shins a couple times. By far the smallest room i ever had in a hotel. There was a cigarette floating in the toilet, in my non-smoking room. The ventilation in the bathroom is constantly on, so you will hear a humming sound all night. Water temperature in the shower oscillates between cold and hot, you cannot set it to a constant temperature. No power outlets next to the bed, so you cannot charge your phone while chilling on the bed. Overall the hotel is old and needs renovation. Surprisingly the mattress was nice and stiff and thats the only positive thing i can say.

A jar of frozen bird fat was served instead of duck liver. My waiter disappeared before serving a desert. And I was charged for every meal I refused to eat or did not get.

The staff, at reception and breakfast, were nice and hospitable. Breakfast buffet suits all tastes... Rooms in particular are simple. Not spacious nor very small. It does the job for someone who is planning to stay out all day and just come back to shower, rest and sleep. They have most of the amenity needed. The furniture is old, but heard that the hotel management are planning to renovate! Clean beds and sheets, and the mattress was comfortable (hard european type). The air-conditioning is very weak and hardly working! Needs maintenance and cleaning.
