Quiet, not too much tourists.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hostel, friendly staff, good rooms, cheap bar (try the local wine!) and well located. Bike rental great value. Only thing letting it down is there are no lockers in the rooms for valuables.

The rooms are basic, but very clean and totally fine.
They cooked dinner for the guests, the food was cheap and very delicious.
They even allowed me to park my car in the back garden for 3 days until I return from a bike tour, although we olny stayed with them for one night.
The lemonade is the best I‘ve ever had.

Everything you expect from a hostel that is located at a historical place! 100 yrs old hotel building now modernized a bit!
Lake is close, great restaurants and wineries in the area.
