★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Az eredeti bronzszobrot az 50-es években beolvasztották a budapesti Sztálin-szoborba. Korabeli fényképek alapján 2006-ban újraöntötték. Korábban ez nem volt lehetséges, mert a katona a "baráti" Csehszlovákia felé mutatott az ujjával, és ez sértette volna a szomszédok érzékenységét.
 The original bronze statue was blended into the Stalin statue in Budapest in the 1950s. Based on contemporary photographs, it was re-cast in 2006. Previously, this was not possible because the soldier pointed his finger at the "friendly" Czechoslovakia, which would have offended the sensitivity of the neighbors.
