★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Az imrehegyi katolikus templom 1990-ben épült fel Gubik Mihály keceli plébános kezdeményezésére. A templom Szent Imre nevét viseli, az oltárkép Szent Imre herceget ábrázolja a fehér liliommal, amely a testi és lelki tisztaságot jelképezi.
Szent Imre herceg járt ezen a területen, kötődése is volt ide. A terület Vadkert-Szarvaskúttal határos, s „Szentimrehegyen" történt Imre herceg nevezetes „vadászbalesete”. A község kezdeti elnevezése Szentimrehegy volt, ez kapcsolatos lehet azzal, hogy a Szent Imre név összefüggött Prokopp Péter festőművész oltárképével, amit a szarkási iskola kápolnáiba festett. Sajnos ezt a gyönyörű alkotást az imrehegyi nép veszteségére lemeszelték, de az oltárkép sugallta a környék Szent Imréről való elnevezését.
 The Catholic church of Imreeghegy was built in 1990 at the initiative of Mihály Gubik Kecel parish priest. The church bears the name of St. Imre, the altar picture depicts Prince St. Imre with a white lily, symbolizing the purity of body and soul.
Prince St. Imre was in this area, he had a bond here. The area is bordered by the Wild Garden and Szarvaskút and was known as the "hunting accident" of Prince Imre on "Szentimrehegy". The name of the village was originally Szentimrehegy. this beautiful work was lowered to the loss of the people of Imre Mountains, but the altarpiece suggested that the area should be named St. Imre.
