Istenhegyi Szent László Plébánia

The church and the ensemble of the church and the cross are very beautiful. The crossroads stations can be seen on both sides of the wide walkway to the church, with beautiful carvings cast in bronze by the sculptor Judit B. Kopp (1943-1995). The artist's signature is shown at the bottom right of the first station image. For the crossroads made in 2020, the sculptor’s children donated station pictures. This and the names of the other donors can be read on the cross columns. There is a beautiful relief above the gate of the church, I think it could be Saint László, the namesake of the church. Dragon motifs can also be found on the church. Saint Ladislaus the Knight King. On the left side of the church there is a stone cross erected in 1906 in memory of Béla Seenger. To the right is a life-size statue of Father St. Pio, reminiscent of a small chapel. On the side of the edifice is a small but more lovely Bethlehem manger with ceramic figures inside. Very nice, unique nativity scene. To the delight of small children. On the playground side of the churchyard stands a World War II memorial with a large impressive bronze statue. We had a beautiful sunny day, which further enhanced the beauty of the space.
