★ ★ ★ ★ ★ " A szájhagyomány szerint 1241-ben a vesztett muhi csatából a tatárok elől menekülő IV. Béla király településünk határában pihent meg. Itt állíttatott egy járdánházi lakos Mária-tiszteltére emlékoszlopot, a hagyományok szerint azonban már korábban állt itt egy emlékkép esetleg egy kereszt.
1874-ben állíttatta fel Csomós Lajos az emlékkápolnát, ezt a tényt a kápolnán egy ma is látható kereszt alakú márványtábla őrzi.

"According to oral tradition, King Béla IV, who fled the lost Muhi battle in 1241, rested on the outskirts of our settlement.
The memorial chapel was erected by Lajos Csomós in 1874. This fact is preserved in the chapel by a cross-shaped marble plaque that can still be seen today.
