János-árok - Bakonynána

The János ditch itself is only average compared to the gorges of the area, but the Roman bath at the end is outstandingly beautiful.

If you don’t have a crowd, it’s a wonderful place, one of my favorites in the country.

A romantic little place on the blue tour line I didn’t even expect such a spectacular breakthrough from the little Gaja stream. I really liked it. Photos do not return "space". Anyone who hasn’t been there yet, be sure to check it out.

Not wheelchair accessible. There are many at a popular time. We were able to stop by car on the road leading to the Prém mill, but there is also a smaller parking lot in front of the mill and at the beginning of the road. But you can stop in several places in the village. The tourist road to the John's Trench is narrow in some places. You have to be careful because if you slip, you can easily roll down a few meters between the trees. Many come back this way. So we had to step aside several times to fit. János Trench has many benches and several fireplaces. There are also covered benches. In the second week of August 2020, a stream swollen due to heavy rain took the bridge. We went there about a week later. Then it was possible to cross the stream because there was less water in it. By mid-September 2020, the new bridge was promised. There are several trash cans but due to the large crowd, they were all full. It's better to take the trash home. Great place for a trip. The forest is short and beautiful.

Beautiful place, like a real jungle. I would call it a relatively dangerous terrain if someone even climbed the rocks.

On the national blue tour route, not far from the Roman Bath Waterfall along the Gaja Creek. Good resting place with many tourists.

Very nice place. There is a parking lot near Murvás Road. By the way, the Roman bath is here. From Bakonynana you can walk on a blue trail. Based on the attached map, we went to Nana, parked and followed the blue road. We went back the blue cross route (not spectacular), a gravel road that can be parked by car.

The resting place itself is beautifully built, similar to the other renovated resting places in Bakony. With covered tables-benches, bacon oven. However, a few tens of meters away is the Roman Baths with gorges, rocks, small waterfalls, beautiful! It is very easy, even in slippers (blue) hiking trail just over 2km from Bakonynana. By car on a crushed stony road approx. it awaits with the same number of built-up car parks, followed by a 200m walk downhill. And some pictures of the bath.
