A múzeum kúltúrált, a tárlat vezetés minden tekintetben kiemelkedő s tudásszintben sem marad el! A múzeum igazgatójának gratulálok !! Köszönöm a nem mindennapi élményt!!

Ha Makón járnak feltétlenül látogassanak el a József Attila Múzeumba mivel felejthetetlen élményt nyújt. Az ott dolgozók nagyon kedvesek és készségesek, A tarlatvezetes egyszerűen mesés volt. A hölgy nagyon tájékozott és türelmes volt mindenkivel. Csak dicsérni tudom.

Ha Makón jársz és autób*zi vagy akkor mindenképp térj be ide, mert ezt nem lehet kihagyni, eredeti 1919-es Ford T modellt rejt a kis múzeum. Kedves és segítőkész a személyzet, köszönöm a beszélgetést, fent a makói történeti rész is érdekes.

Érdekes és sokféle kiállítás. Az önkéntes hölgy nagyon sok mindent mesélt el nekünk. A József Attila kiállítással együtt kb. 3 órát töltöttünk itt. Ezt a komplex tárlatot mindenképpen érdemes megnézni. A penztárosok nem csak jegyet adtak, hanem mindenre felhivták a figyelmünket. Sokkal többet kaprunk, mint 1 jegyet. ?

Hihetetlen mennyire szívesen láttak itt bennünket. Részletes tájékoztatást kaptunk már a jegyvásárlás közben is, később pedig a kívül található skanzen részen tárlatvezetést is. Az alsó szinten jelenleg időszakos szobor kiállítás található, a felső szinten pedig állandó. Kint az udvarról több kisebb kiállítás nyílik, ahol található kovács műhely, asztalos műhely és a hagymatermesztés történetéről szóló bemutató terem is. Szívből ajánlom mindenkinek, tárlatvezetéssel több időt vesz igénybe.

Beautiful museum, with tremendous items, rich history.

The Museum of Mako looks unassuming from the outside with a simple facade right next to the Mako City Hall. Upon entering you are greeted by friendly hosts eager to show you their collection. Admission is free if one is staying at a “partner” hotel. They even looked for an English speaking guide to show me the exhibits. József was very knowledgeable and patient showing me their exhibits which range from wonderful photographs taken by a famous Hungarian photographer which spanned the first floor to the second floor which showed the chronological history of Mako and Hungary. One will see beautiful and colorful traditional garments, with various rooms showcasing furniture and objects from a bygone era to Mako and Hungary’s development into the independent nation we know now. One would think that this is all to see but for me the exhibits outside were more interesting. Coming out of the main museum to a garden one will see several structures, these depict actual houses of peasants, with storage “units” for grains or crops. There was also a blacksmith and carpenter’s work area. A structure was dedicated to the life of onion farmers. Several rooms showed the process and implements used in onion growing and the roles each person played during harvest. József would not only answer each question I asked but would also add more interesting details. It is a wonderful museum staffed by Hungarians eager to show their beautiful country, history and traditions. A must see place especially for those interested in learning about this great city and country.
