The Eötvös József Collegium is the oldest vocational college at Eötvös Loránd University, whose mission is to support the most talented Hungarian university citizens and help their scientific progress.
The Collegium was founded in 1895 by Baron Loránd Eötvös on the model of the École normale supérieure in Paris, and the teacher-training college was named after his father.
