Viszont a környék csodálatos, Csákányospusztához mindenképp érdemes ellátogatni, és ha már itt van az ember, nem szabad kihagyni a Mária-szakadékot, a szakadék végén található erdei temetőt és az ezekhez közel eső (15 perc séta) Körtvélyesi kilátót sem. There isn't much to see around the ruins, there is really just the outline of the walls left, and there is basically no information available about the original building. However, the surroundings are gorgeous and Csákányospuszta is definitely worthy of a visit. And whilst you are here, you should also see the Mária abyss, the cemetery, and the nearby (approx. 15 minutes walk) Körtvélyesi lookout tower. There are not many sights at the ruins, the foundations of the chapel are just visible from the ground, and practically nothing can be known about the original building itself. However, the area is wonderful, Csákányospuszta is definitely worth a visit, and if you are already here, you should not miss the Maria Gorge, the forest cemetery at the end of the gorge and the Körtvélyesi lookout tower close to them (15 minutes walk). The ruins of the church are beautiful and cozy, but unfortunately they are in a very bad condition, the walls are falling apart, urgent preservation would be needed!
