1938. augusztus 29-én Siófokon agyvérzésben meghalt. Sírja a Kerepesi úti temetőben található.

 Frigyes Karinthy (born Frigyes Karinthi Ernő) (Budapest, June 25, 1887 - Siófok, August 29, 1938) Hungarian writer, poet, translator. Brother of painter and illustrator Ada Karinthi, father of Ferenc Karinthy.
He died of a stroke on August 29, 1938 in Siófok. His grave is located in the Kerepesi út cemetery.
