Egy épület, ami mellet taxisként akár többször is elhaladunk naponta, de nem igazán tudunk róla semmit.
Gróf Károlyi Alajos a Monarchia nagykövete volt.
Az épület tervezője Ybl Miklós. Az építés éve: 1863.
A Palotát 1921 és 1944 között az Olasz Királyság követsége bérelte a Károlyi-családtól. 1944-ben igen nagy károkat okozott benne a háború, melyeket részlegesen ugyan, de 1966-ban helyreállítottak, miután az épületet megkapta a Magyar Rádió (előtte a Bizományi Áruház raktára volt).

The palace was rented between 1921 and 1944 by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Italy from the Károlyi family. In 1944, the war caused great damage to it, which was partially restored, but was restored in 1966, after the building was received by the Hungarian Radio (formerly the warehouse of the Commerce Department).
