Világháború végén, az orosz megszálláskor, a kastély bútorzatát, használati tárgyait felgyújtották illetve elhurcolták az oroszok. Semmi nem maradt meg az eredeti berendezésből csak a nyílászárók és a faldíszítő stukkók. Ennek ellenére érdemes ellátogatni Kenderesre és felkeresni az emlékhelyeket.
 The castle of Governor Miklós Horthy in Hemp. Today it houses a dormitory. A II. At the end of World War II, during the Russian occupation, the furniture and utensils of the castle were set on fire and taken away by the Russians. Nothing is left of the original equipment except the windows and wall stucco. Nevertheless, it is worth visiting Kenderes and visiting the memorial sites.
