Best Restaurant in Hungary

C	Clement József on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is like the best I've ever been to in a long time. The food is stunningly great and the employees are extremely kind. Their "kis fröccs" incredibly tasty, while it costs an euro. The place itself is located in a beautiful garden, and the tables are under a huge cherry tree.
R	Robert on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ PERFECT! The restaurant lies in an idyllic region remote from the tourism. The setting offers a marvellous view on the restaurant-owned vines (they also have their own peach-trees and some other fruit, making their house vines and hard liiquors- try the palinka selection). Here, the menu is the way I like it: Dishes on 1-2 pages plus drink selection. The basic lemonade is very tasty. The dishes are well chosen and at times very special, for instance the (pig) brain on toast. They serve Hungarian specialities and the kitchen is open and small, so one can see what is cooked. The cost-benefit is also exceptional. Service is super. Just I do not see the table-tennis table fit in the overall picture :) But anyhow. Thumb(s) up!

Z	Zeno Amtmann on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most famous places around Balatonalmádi. The menu is not similar to the restaurants in the city, which mostly provide deep fried and beach food. However, when we ordered a steak, which was the most expensive item on the menu, and they did not ask us how we'd like the steak to be prepared, that was suspicious. When we got a waaay overdone steak and said that it was not what a steak supposed to be, the guy who served us was extremely rude and said bad things to us. We were perplexed, as last year we had a steak at the Tulipán restaurant, which was one of the best steaks that we had and the chef was the same. Could the difference be due to some management bulls**t? I would like to highlight Erika, a waitress, who occasionally served us, as she showed a superb attitude, professionalism, and personal touch that one can rarely see nowadays. I hope that her talent got acknowledged by management. The location is nice, but it's waaay too far from the city.

M	Máté Makai on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came for dinner on a Saturday evening. to this hidden restaurant on a verdant hillside. This place was fully booked so the reservation was necessary. During our lengthy stay we sampled the local wine selection which we liked a lot. The food is superb, especially the starters that we ordered multiple rounds from. The menu is short and not overstretching. The staff is very friendly and approachable. The place has great vibes after sunset and seeing other guests, great for families with children as well. We would return.
