Kérvén, hogy a már többször megreparált fahíd helyett egy kisebb költségű, stabil, kő hidat építsenek, melyen keresztül a környező települések – Baj – földjei és mezői is megközelíthetők legyenek, s melyen a terhelt szekér és a marhák is kényelmesen közlekedhetnek. Kérésüket méltányolva Deáki Prefectus Úr követ vitetett, továbbá 16 ezer égetett téglát kértek a híd bolthajtásához, egy pár faragott követ, némi meszet a munkálatok elvégzéséhez. A folyamodásnak lett is foganatja. Ugyanis a híd építése 1787. augusztus 10-én Nemes Vármegye és az uradalom kormányzója segítségével elkezdődött és szeptember 25-én befejeződött a kőműves munka. A környékbeli falvak ide voltak rendelve az építés segítségére. 1788. március 22-én a híd mellett 42 fűzfát ültettek el. Jelen voltak: Szádetzky András bíró, Kondvitska György, Kis János, Pluhár György esküdtek, és Jankovits jegyző. A hídon túl, a szántók felé vezető út mentén egy vadkörtefát is ültettek és előtte fa feszületet helyeztek el, ahova virágot vittek és amely mellett a megfáradt földművesek megpihentek. À	Àges Sebők on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sokat sétálok az Általér partján sőt akár sátorral is eltöltök ott egy-egy hétvégét. Kellemes nyugodt hely egy könyvvel a kézben a vízparton. Éjszaka hallani az autópálya "zúgását" de a nappali időszakban ez abszolut nem feltünő. A kerékpárút is erre vezet és a híd mellett pihenőhely is ki van alakítva padokkal szemetessel. A kerékpáros pihenő mellett kisétálva a vasútállomás felé szintén egy kis parkot találunk fedett pihenöhelyekkel és ivókúttal, de a főút túloldalán egy kisbolt is van ahol megvehetjük a kifogyott útravalókat.
