After all the good reviews we read, it was a disappointing experience. The starters were good but the main courses were not good at all.

Excellent meal here and I’d say a cut above much of the other traditional food we’ve had in Hungary. Really enjoyed my duck and would have come back but there is nothing on the menu for my vegetarian daughter.

Great food at great prices with great service, what's not to like? Visited with the wife and 3 kids, 2 of which had the 2 course kids' menu consisting of a broth soup with vermicelli noodles and spaghetti with pomodoro sauce. Both of the boys gave the food 2 thumbs up. The teenager had one of the two vegan options on the menu, zucchini with a barley-tomato coulis, really tasty with perfectly cooked ingredients. I had a traditional Hungo summer dish with a non-traditional twist: grilled (cow) cheese salad with yoghurt dressing, and the wife had the house made hummus with dried tomatoes. A loaf of good crusty dark bread tied everything together, along with couple glasses of local rose. Deserts were also noteworthy, a panacotta with cherry compote and a chocolate mousse with hazelnuts. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, they sent out a complimentary amuse bouche of pimento cream cheese stuffed pogacsa to get us started as soon as we were seated. The whole shebang for our family of five was a very reasonable 17,500 forint, or a little more that 50 euros, service not included. Portions are generous, we took 2 to-go containers back to our rented villa. Service was, BTW, polite and professional, friendly but not overly so. Highly recommended for a family dinner in Siofok. Compared to some of the tourist traps that line the petofi setany, it's more than a cut above and worth the additional 3 minutes spent in the car.

Delicious food, excellent, attentive service, lovely settings. Each five of us ordered something different, everything was perfect. I had gluten free grilled cheese with salad and gluten free poppy seed cake, both perfect, not the boring versions. For me, the very best resto in Siófok.

Polite and pleasant service. Great deserts and coffee. Gourmet style, but not overdone! Really happy to have a place like this in Széplak!

Food looks well, tastes excellent, is creative. Service very professional. Price for the quality veery fair. IF you stick around, it is a must. My recommendation ???
