Many leave here and come here from the surrounding settlements for school, shopping and work. Travelers to Budapest, Baja and Kiskunfélegyháza also arrive and depart here. From here, passengers can reach the Szeged-Budapest Nyugati pu. and return flights to Inercyti, tickets and additional tickets can be exchanged at the ticket office, and information services and foreign tickets can be purchased. Memorial plaques placed on the walls of the station also show the history of the station. The first military train with the then Soviet military unit, which was permanently withdrawn, departed from Kiskunhalas station. In essence, this was the beginning of the withdrawal. The pictures, where there is a pair of trees next to the trees, the so-called "military loader", started from here, where the withdrawing Soviet troops of that time were loaded. In 2022, the development of the Budapest-Belgrade railway line began. From February 1, scheduled traffic has stopped. The foundation stone was laid on October 15, 2021, confirming this.
