Történetünk
1991 óta foglalkozik családunk vendéglátással. Előbb sörözőt, vagy hétköznapiasan mondva "kocsmát" vezettünk. Csak 1997-ben alakítottunk ki melegkonyhát, amit két évre bérbe adtunk. Miután visszakerült hozzánk az üzlet, egy új arculatot adva 1999 őszén nyitottuk újra.
Sok kötődés, baráti kapcsolat fűz minket Erdélyhez. Egy olyan vendéglátóhely kialakítása volt a célunk, ahová hazajön a vendég. Melegség és egyszerűség, a régi paraszti környezet fogadja, lehet ez akár a sík Mezőségen, vagy fenn a Hargitán… Az ételek egyszerű parasztemberek asztaláról valók, ahol a természet, az erdők és mezők közelsége érezhető a sokféle füvek, fűszerek által. Reméljük, valamennyire érzékeltetni tudjuk ezt rohanó világunk kapkodó gasztronómiai szokásai mellett is. Ezért, ha betérnek hozzánk, kérem, vegyék figyelembe: amíg Önök várakoznak, a konyhán serényen munkálkodnak, hogy minél hamarabb asztalukra kerüljön a megrendelt étel. Ez némely esetben 40 percet is igénybe vehet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For 2nd Christmas day we decided that going out for dinner would be the way to go. So my wife and I invited my dad and his wife. We asked them to suggest a good restaurant, and they did not miss. We ordered a 2 person plate for each couple, these would have fed 3 easily. The grilled vegetables where wonderful as where the meat cheese and potatoes. The desserts were authentic transylvanian and freshly made.
The interior classical Hungarian/Transylvanian is very inviting, and the staff were super friendly, this is a place we will definitely be coming back to wherever we are in the erea.
