Felérkezve, rögtön szemünkbe tűnik a templomhoz vezető járda mellett, a 10/95 számú idézetes emlékkő, mely másodpéldánya a budapesti Kálvin téren 2017-ben, a reformáció 500. évfordulóján, a térburkolatban elhelyezett 95 emlékkő egyikének. Ezt az emlékkövet mutatós, alacsony talapzaton helyezték el, így minden érkező elolvashatja a rajta lévő nemes gondolatokat. A járdán továbbhaladtam a templom nyitott kapuja felé. Éppen mise volt. Kedvesen hívtak, de sajnos nem tudtam maradni. A kapu felett latin nyelvű szöveggel vésett kőlap. Rajta a "Kölesd MDCCLXXXVIII" (1788) felirat. A templom építésének évszáma lehet. A különlegesen szép toronysisakon az "1902"-es évszàmot örökítették meg. Bizonyára a készítés éve. A templom kapujától a település felé szép kilátas nyílik. The beautiful Reformed church of Kölesd, located on a hill, can be reached by a long flight of stairs from Kossuth Square next to the retaining wall. Arriving right next to the sidewalk leading to the church, we can see the quoted memorial stone No. 10/95, which is a duplicate of one of the 95 memorial stones placed in the pavement of Kálvin Square in Budapest in 2017, on the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. This memorial stone is placed on a showy, low pedestal so all visitors can read the noble thoughts on it. On the sidewalk I continued towards the open gate of the church. It was just Mass. They called me kindly, but unfortunately I couldn't stay. Stone slab engraved with Latin text above the gate. On it a "Millet MDCCLXXXVIII" (1788). The year of construction of the church may be. The year "1902" is recorded on the particularly beautiful tower helmet. Certainly the year it was made. From the gate of the church there is a nice view towards the settlement.
