★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Herzl Tivadar osztrák-magyar-zsidó író és politikus, a Zsidó Állam eszméjének megálmodója, a cionista politika atyja, és így a Cionista Világszervezet megalapítója is. Logikus, hogy apró miniszobrát Európa legnagyobb és talán legszebb zsinagógája környékén találjuk meg. De nem is akárhol! Nem a térköveken, nem a falon, nem is kis talapzaton, hanem a város életének funkcionális részeként működő oszlopon. Annyira nem feltűnő, hogy figyeltem egy darabig, szinte nem is veszi észre senki, csak aki tudja hol van, vagy direkt keresi. Van egy híres, közismert fotó róla, ami biciklivel örökíti meg. Remek Kolodko barátunk meg megragadta a fotográfia lényegét és fémbe szobrotta. Bizony, ilyen remek koncepciók a Kolodko-szobrok mind! Nem csak megcsodálni, elgondolkodni azon, hogy miért is került oda.
Tivadar Herzl is an Austrian-Hungarian-Jewish writer and politician, the dreamer of the idea of the Jewish State, the father of Zionist politics, and thus the founder of the World Zionist Organization. It is logical to find a tiny mini-statue around the largest and perhaps most beautiful synagogue in Europe. But not anywhere! Not on the paving stones, not on the wall, not on a small pedestal, but on a column that functions as a functional part of city life. It’s so inconspicuous that I’ve been watching for a while, hardly noticed by anyone except who knows where he is or is looking directly. There’s a famous, well-known photo of him capturing his bike. Our great friend Kolodko grabbed the essence of photography and sculpted it into metal. Surely, such great concepts for the Kolodko statues are all! Not just to admire, to think about why you got there.
