A Noé bárkája miniszobrot a Bethlen téren, az Állatorvosi Egyetem közelében helyezték el, utalva ezzel a bárkán helyet kapott állatokra. A szobor kialakítása lehetőséget ad arra, hogy az özönvíz végét jelző szivárvány is megjelenhessen. There are no better public works in the capital these days than miniatures by Michael Kolodko. The Noah's Ark miniature was placed on Bethlen Square near the Veterinary University, referring to the animals on the ark. The design of the statue gives the opportunity for the rainbow to be seen as the end of the flood.

Nevicceljünk már:) It is a pint of metal box on top of a stone column at about waist height. Is this a statue? Is this some Tesco economical statue? Or Gulliver in the midget? Let's not joke :)

Csak hát a környék másik "jellegzetessége", hogy minden kapualj, beugró stb le van hugyozva, és talán nem is mindig a kutyák által. Olvastam másoktól leszóló megjegyzéseket a Kolodko alkotásokról. Szerintem jópofák. A gyerekek különösen szeretik. S a lényeg igazából a felfedezésen van: az odaút és a megtalálás. We came here because of the Kolodko statue. Cozy space. Just another "feature" of the area is that all the doorways, inlets, etc. are downhill, and maybe not always by the dogs. I read comments from others about Kolodko’s work. I think they're good. Kids especially love it. And the point is really in the discovery: the way there and the finding.

Valaha idejárta a Bárczira, ha vizsgázni kellett, hát szorultam, de később, amikor már csak néptáncolni jártunk ide, akkor imádtam! És mivel a gyógypedagógusok között sok volt a lány, a szemben lévő állatorvosin meg sok volt inkább a fiú, hát összejöttünk sokan, szerettük egymást és jókat is söröztünk próbák után. Hát így jön ide a kis Kolodko-szobor is. Hol lehetne máshol, mint az állatorvostudományi egyetem előtt? A logikai kapcsolat adott. A palló le van eresztve, a bárka kész arra, hogy beengedje vagy kiengedje az állatokat, attól függően, hogy vízözön előtt vagy után vagyunk-e? Állatokat nem látni (azon nyilván bent vannak az egyetemen), de pici ablakokban a nevezetes szivárványt igen! I didn't even love this Gábor Bethlen square. He used to go to Bárcz when he had to take an exam, so I was in need of it, but later, when we only went here to dance folk, I loved it! And since there were a lot of girls among the special educators, there were a lot more boys at the vet opposite, so we got together a lot, we loved each other and had a good beer after rehearsals. Well, that's how the little statue of Kolodko comes here. Where else could it be than before the University of Veterinary Medicine? The logical connection is given. Is the plank lowered, is the barge ready to let the animals in or out, depending on whether we are before or after the flood? You don’t see animals (they’re obviously in college on that), but the tiny rainbow in tiny windows does!

A szobor kialakítása lehetőséget ad arra, hogy az özönvíz végét jelző szivárvány is megjelenhessen a hajó ablakaiban elhelyezett üveglapocskák útján. A művész munkái az elmúlt években igazi vérfrissítést hoztak: alig néhány centiméteres szobrai nem csak a városlakók, de a turisták kedvenceivé váltak, mára pedig megkerülhetetlenek. Verdikt: 5/5. Unfortunately, there are some we can't see because of this. It is very worthwhile to discover as many as possible!
