A felújított Petőfi tér. Egyike azon helyeknek a városban, amely új arculatot kapott. Teljesen akadálymentes rengeteg ülőfelület, a városban itt kapott helyet az első okospad, szabad wifivel, USB porttal. Aktív közösségi terület, nagy, világos, korszerű buszmegállókkal, a Posta mellett K&H ATM üzemel, így nem kell a belvárosba menni készpénzért. Számos üzlet található itt, úgymint: Dohánybolt, ebből azonnal kettő, a tér két végén, Tom Market, Nívó Csemege, 100 forintos bolt, virágüzletek, KP Burger street food (helyén sajnos azóta állat eledel bolt működik de mindegy), posta és orvosi rendelő. Akadálymentes gyalogátkelő helyekkel, melyek esténként jobban meg vannak világítva, mint az út többi része. Az iskolások biztonságára reggel, illetve délután polgárőrök felügyelnek, kivált képpen a zebráknál.
