★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located about 20 minutes outside of Tihany right next to the water, this restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere away from the tourists. The food was amazing - I would recommend the fish, the service was incredibly friendly and even recommended a delicious local desert. Would visit again within a heartbeat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most beautiful settings with almost totally being lakeside. The food is honest, very good quality hungarian food with some twists. For me the buy in was a superb Cordon Bleu with mangalica ham and a mature cheese. So superb ingredients for our old time favourites is super, some of the tweaks are not that much: eg. the andaluzian sauce totally dominated the dish. Portions are really huge (so retrospectively understood why they do not offer starters). No English menu, and not sure how much the staff speaks English. You could see lots of local holidaymakers who seem to be knowing the owner for ages, which is very reassuring. We were very satisfied overall. (Hint: if they suggest they have a long waiting time for dessert, go for it, it will worth it).
