A Szentesica forrásnak egykor csodatévő, gyógyító erőt tulajdonítottak. A legenda szerint a forrás vizében mosta meg kezét István király Koppány legyőzése után. Ma már azért Koppány vezér egy komolyabb emlékhelyet is érdemelne, átgondolva a történelemben sok mindent. Mert sok ember mai napig is szitokszóként gondol a pogányra, mint szóra, pedig az semmi mást nem jelent, csak annyit, hogy NEM hithű keresztény. A pogány ember Istent bárhol megtalálja, akár egy kőben is, de a legfontosabb, hogy saját magában és nem kell ahhoz drága csillogó templom. K	Kass Péter on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nagyon hangulatos a helyszín. A forrás vize, mikor ott voltunk, nem volt iható, mert nem látszott honnan folyik ki, inkább csak átszivárgott a mohás támfal mögül. Az odavezető földes út (sárga jelzés) esős időben csúszós, sáros. The venue is very cozy. The spring water, when we were there, was not drinkable because it was not visible from where it was flowing, rather it was just leaking from behind the mossy retaining wall. The dirt road leading to it (yellow sign) is slippery and muddy in rainy weather.

L	Lajos Peszt on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Előrebocsátom, hogy - szerintem, a történelmi hűség okán - ez az emlékhely nem a helyén van itt, ugyanis a várdombon, a Kupavár helyén kellene állnia a most ott álló kereszt helyén! Itt gyakorlatilag eldugva a domb aljában az erdőben...ez méltatlan, még akkor is, ha ott fent nem lehet. Minden tiszteletem azoknak akik ilyen körülmények közepette is rendbentartják az utat és az emlékhelyet. Sok jel utal arra, hogy rendszeres látogatók járnak ide.... Az arrajáró gyalogos turistának egy csomó ismeretlen dologgal kell szembesülnie, úgymint a kis koppány-pótsírocska, vagy az ismeretlen jelek a kerek a kőlapon, az alma, és az ágak, a sámánkör stb....ezekről nem ártana némi információt elhelyezni. I predict that - I think, for the sake of historical fidelity - this memorial site is not in place here, as it should stand on the castle hill, in the place of the Cup Castle, in the place of the cross now standing! Here, practically tucked away at the bottom of the hill in the woods ... it's unworthy, even if it can't be up there. All due respect to those who keep the road and the memorial in order even in such circumstances. There are many signs that regular visitors come here .... A passing walking tourist will have to deal with a lot of unknown things, such as the small knock-back tomb, or the unknown signs round the stone slab, the apple, and the branches, the shamanic circle, etc. .... it wouldn’t hurt to place some information about these.
