★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A téren helyet kapott egy 1848-as nagyméretű emlékmű, az egyik oldalán Kossuth Lajos egészalakos bronz dombormű, a másik oldalon a gránitkőbe megörökített Petőfi Sándor arckép.
Mindkét oldalon idézeteket is találunk bevésve, a térben is szép környezettel kialakított emlékmű talapzatán. Egyik oldalon az alkotó Pauer Gyula (1941-2012) szobrászművész szignója, a másik oldalon az àllíttató önkormányzatok neve szerepel. Ugyanitt olvasható, hogy az 1848-49-es magyar forradalom és szabadságharc 150. évfordulójára készült az emlékmű.
 The square houses a large monument from 1848, a full-length bronze relief by Lajos Kossuth on one side and a portrait of Sándor Petőfi immersed in granite stone on the other.
You can also find quotations engraved on both sides, on the pedestal of a monument with a beautiful environment. On one side is the signature of the sculptor Gyula Pauer (1941-2012), on the other side is the name of the governing municipalities. It can be read there that the monument was made for the 150th anniversary of the Hungarian Revolution and the War of Independence in 1848-49.
