Az alkotó Török Richárd 1954–1993 között élt. A fiatalon elhunyt szobrász alkotásait a hagyatékát ápoló szülők gondozzák. Így készült el ez a pápai Kossuth portré, és a debreceni Kölcsey portré is, jóval az alkotó szobrászművész halála után.
 The portrait, erected in 2002, is an authentic copy of the portrait erected in 1991 at the Hungarian United Nations Palace in New York.
The creative Richard Török lived between 1954 and 1993. The works of the sculptor, who died young, are cared for by the parents caring for his legacy. This is how this portrait of Pope Kossuth and the portrait of Kölcsey in Debrecen were made, long after the death of the creative sculptor.
