★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Kossuth szobor kispesten a Kossuth téren található.2,5 m-es bronz szobrát Hybl József készítette 1910-ben.
"1901-ben Herbacsek Bertalan fakereskedő ötlete alapján elhatározták, hogy Kossuth-szobrot állítanak. A Kispesti Polgári Kör nagygyűlést hívott össze, megalapították a szoborépítő nagybizottságot, elnöknek Varjú Kálmánt, az egyik legtekintélyesebb és legnépszerűbb polgárt választották, akinek leszármazottai ma is Kispesten élnek. 10 év alatt gyűlt össze a szükséges pénz, adakozásból, tombolajátékból és nem utolsó sorban a község közpénztárából.
A szobor alkotója Hybl József helybéli fiatal művész, mint ahogy a talapzat készítője Reckl Lajos kőfaragómester is."
 The Kossuth statue is located in Kossuth Square in Kispest. Its 2.5 m bronze statue was made by József Hybl in 1910.
"In 1901, Bertalan Herbacsek decided to build a statue of Kossuth, based on the idea of a timber merchant. During the year, he collected the necessary money from donations, raffles and last but not least from the public treasury of the village.
The statue was created by József Hybl, a young local artist, as was Lajos Reckl, a stone carving master. "
