A szobor méltó környezetben áll Cegléd belvárosában. The Kossuth statue in Szabadság Square was the first work of the sculptor János Horvay in 1902. The 2.7 meter high statue was made by Lajos Kossuth for his 100th birthday. The side figures are 2.1 meters high, thus highlighting the greatness of Kossuth. The statue stands in a worthy environment in the center of Cegléd.

A hatást tovább fokozza a szobor körüli, kis kerítéssel körülvett füvesített domb. Többnyire szemből-fotózásra törekszik a látványt megörökíteni szándékozó ember, de a reggeli napfény engem a szobor hátoldalának, és oldalainak fényképezésére sarkallt. Minden oldalról milyen szép a szobor. The Kossuth statue with its side figures on a high pedestal is an outstanding sight of the square. The effect is further enhanced by the grassy hill around the statue, surrounded by a small fence. Most of the time the person who wants to capture the scene is trying to take a face-to-face photo shoot, but the morning sun sparked me to photograph the back and sides of the statue. How beautiful the statue is on all sides.
