The Kossuth Prize-winning sculptor Imre Varga's work depicting Gyula Krúdy sitting in a carriage was placed in the pleasant park of Siófok, in the Jókai park, next to the Petőfi promenade bustling with tourists in the summer.

A mű Varga Imre 2004-es alkotása, és ez egy másolat. Az eredeti Nyíregyházán került kiállításra.
A szoboregyüttes neve: "Az öreg Krúdy - Illés szekerén"
Egy elcsípett felirat: "Egy sóhajtásnyira itt pihent Illés borzasztó szekere."
I was amazed to meet Gyula Krúdy in Siófok. I like the statue, but the writer somehow "turns away from me".
The work is a 2004 work by Imre Varga and is a copy. It was exhibited in the original Nyíregyháza.
