Nice, clean salon and helpful staff. The hairdresser was very friendly and in light of the quality the place is very reasonably priced.

Friendly staff, nice interior, but big fluctuations of the hair dressers, therefore quality is not guaranteed. And be prepared to wait app. 10 min. even if you have an appointment.

I left the salon with blowdryish hair (acceptable maybe for a low grade hair salon) after an hour of torture and bullying how my hair is bad. Girl who has done my hair did it with cheap brushes and lower quality hair dryer, she was trying to do it as fast as possible grabbing strands of my hair as thick as possible (as I have a lot of hair that ended up as a long attempt to do a blow dry). She has failed to give me blow dry as I requested and she has been interrogating me during the whole ordeal about my hair routine. What ever I would reply she started to trash my hair with an obvious attempt to sell me some of the products. She claimed that my hair is in such a bad shape and that is the reason for frizzing (she has used a hair dryer from under the brush up which makes frizzing worse btw). When I signalled that there is a way to blow dry it properly as I am doing my hair at least once a week, she tried to fix it, but result has been way worse than optimal. It has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I have noticed that other hairdressers used better equipment and that they've been obviously more skilled, but even an apprentice should know how to do a basic straight (with naturally straight hair) blow dry. So, I am still in a search for a very good salon in Budapest to do my hair on regular basis as quality of services even in the same salon with the same hairdresser are fluctuating.

The personnel was very helpful and friendly. They also did a great job on my haircut for a good price (for germany, i don't know what it looks like for hungarian prices)

Firstly, I’d like to say that this salon was beautiful and several of the stylists seemed experienced and produced gorgeous styles while I was there. Unfortunately, I did not have the same experience and my hair was ruined. After travelling for a week and just coming off an overnight bus I thought I’d treat myself to a blow dry. I looked online for a Kérastase salon as I have been to their salons at home and then checked reviews. Kucsera Hajszalon has great reviews so they seemed like a safe choice. Upon arrive I was introduced to Yani who seemed nice and English speaking so we could communicate easily. While at the basin and again during straightening my hair was brushed using a fine tooth comb. Whether this was lack of experience or poor training I am not sure, but as someone with blonde, naturally curly hair and at that stage dirty hair I would never ever use a comb, particularly on wet hair. I could feel some tugging but it wasn’t clear until my hair was dry exactly how much damage had been done. While straightening it my hair was tugged until it snapped off when the comb reached a knot. Once I reached the counter to pay the price was increased by 10,000 HUF. Whether this was because they used the ‘special irons’ I do not know, the increase was never communicated to me nor were any additional charges for using the iron. Embarrassed and upset I paid and left quickly before crying outside to my boyfriend and assessing the damage in a nearby bathroom. Thousands of dollars and years of regrowing my hair and carefully bleaching to avoid damage have been wasted as my hair now looks stringy and thin.

I have previously given a 5-star rating to the salon (over 2 years ago), but the service has declined steadily. It's still OK, but you'd expect more for that price. I've since changed my hairdresser.

"beach waves" by Marci.? TERRIBLE! Immediately after salon. Made in June, but still unforgettable... My hair was literally ? and parched.. All this "pleasure" for 22.000 Ft.. THANKS! ??? I WISH YOU ???
