This restaurant is cozy, the staff is very kind, quick and helpful. The food were good, but for me it is veird combination because italian restaurant is serving also some tradicional hungarian dishes, but okey, it is not big deal, only my opinion.

Delicious Hungarian and Italian dishes when you have a group who can’t decide. In the heart of Váci utca with both indoor and outdoor seating. Our meal was further enhanced by friendly, attentive, but unrushed service. Open late too.

Great pizza. The 0.4 m pizza is a bit too much for 1 people but you must try.

Very cozy resturant very central in Budapest. We started with pancakes & grinded meat with tomato sauce...that was one of the best things we had ever tasted. The sauce really put it all together. Excellent! We had the two different duck dishes on the menu. My wife now rate this dish the best she has ever had in a resturant. For me it was really up there with the top 5. For dessert my wife had the Tiramisu. I had the pancakes with cheese filling which was...interesting. Quite strong in flavour..enough to make me grin...yet not bad. Kind of reminded me of when i ate olives for the first time...did not hate it...and did not love it..but still liked it. Service was prompt and swift. Food also. The waiters were friendly and very service minded. The price was 1/3rd of what we ate at a different resturant the day before. Perfect sized portions when you had starter, main course and dessert. Only us and another couple in there when we came in...the we noticed almost all tables were reserved. By the time we left the place was packed. Good job La Botte! You made the highlight on my wife's birthday!

A good Italian place, the pizza was really good, it feels authentic, the dough is thin as it should be and it's not over populated with toppings, nice and simple. Those friends who had pasta also gave compliments. Prices are okay if you accept the fact that it's located on one of the most touristy streets in the city. Regarding the service, some of the waiters were nice and friendly, some... not so much, I guess it's a busy area and you could feel a bit of frustration and coldness in some of the waiters, but it wasn't disturbing at all luckily.

Food is excellent quality although portions on the small side. Staff is friendly and attentive. Price quality is very good. Recommend.

Fantastic location. Great service, pizzeria with descent atmosphere, very cosy. Staff friendly and approachable. Delicious pizza on thin crust with some of best tasty toppings. Fairly priced. Definitely one of places to kill your pizza carvings without regrets.

Ordered a beer, a mojito, Salmon and asperagus risotto and a spicy pizza called Bomba. As you can see on the picture, the mojito was poor of mint and lime and was basically rum and soda water. Risotto was a bit too salty for out taste. Pizza is what you'd expect. OK pizza. Price was pretty high and the restaurant is clearly targeting tourists. 10 pages in the menu is a clear indication that something is wrong. Hence : It's OK, what one could expect from a touristy area.
