Karikó Katalin díszdoktori előadása | ELTE 2022.07.01.
Az Eötvös Loránd Tudományegyetem díszdoktorai közé választotta Karikó Katalin nemzetközi hírű kutatóbiológust, a Természettudományi Kar javaslatára. Az ünnepélyes díszdoktor-avatásra 2022. július 1-én került sor, amelyet követően Karikó Katalin tiszteletére tudományos szimpóziumot rendeztünk a Lágymányosi Campuson. Karikó Katalin Széchenyi-díjas kutatóbiológus, a szintetikus mRNS alapú vakcinák orvosi technológiájának kifejlesztését felfedezéseivel megalapozó magyar biokémikus az Eötvös Loránd Tudományegyetem Természettudományi Karára látogatott 2022. július 1-én. Díszdoktorrá avatása alkalmából az ELTE Természettudományi Kar kutatói közössége többféle programmal készült a nemzetközi hírű magyar kutatónő látogatására.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jól néz ki nagyon a hely, biztos jó itt tanulni is. Az automatás kávé iható, a wc tiszta. Mondjuk a ruhatáras néni szerintem hallássérült, mert öt szólításból egyszer se nézett fel a telefonjáról :)
The place looks great, it is definitely good to study here as well. The automatic coffee is drinkable, the toilet is clean. Let's say the aunt with the wardrobe is hearing impaired, because she never looked up from her phone out of five calls :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prestigious university, frequently places #1 in Hungarian polls. One downside is the universal learning platform they switched to, Neptun. It's a joke, compared to what we had previously, ETR. Neptun is unreliable, breaks frequently, and goes down when needed most. Also, teachers don't know how to use it still, especially dead and deserted is the social side -- Neptun Meet Street. I remember when course discussion forums were teeming with activity. Now we're forced to take things off-site, to Facebook for example.
