★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unexpected 24 hours in Gyor after mechanical issues with our campervan. A quick google search and we found this campsite. And soooooo pleases we did! After travelling through 6 countries in 6 days our unexpected 24 hour stop off in Gyor (a place we were just going drive passed) was the best of our trip!! A very rustic campsite with pleasant views over the small lakes. Fantastic facilities and the owners couldn’t do enough to help us and made us feel very welcome!
Walking distance to a great pub and the shops and Gyor itself is stunning!
We wholly recommend a stop over if you’re travelling in the area!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's very close to the town. It is quiet if you park near the office, rest rooms are clean and the showers good with plenty of hot water. WiFi works well if you are near the office. The price we paid 27 euro for our camper and 4 people us and two teens seems high considering that there is really nothing here but parking and toilets. There was a frog swimming in the pool so that is not in use. The camping spaces were open and big, also because there was almost no one there. It is a fine place if you just want a place to stay while visiting the beautiful city of Gyor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was pleasantly surprised - everything was sparkling clean, there were good showers and fully equipped kitchen, including a fridge and a freezer. Electricity is also available. Good place for campers in tents and caravans. Staff is very nice. A small downside is the ground, which is a bit hard for tent stakes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly and helpful reception family. Fine large place for our camper and clean toilets. We stayed 6 nights. Good supermarket 15 minutes walking. Beautiful City of Gyor 10 minutes by bike.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely little campsite. Cycling the Euro Velo 6 and very happy to turn up at this place and be welcomed by kind campsite owner! Pretty campsite, plenty of room. Dated kitchen and facilities but all worked well. Really close to a Lidl! Pool there but not for swimming in at the moment.
