Full of African and Ethiopia food and I love it too much

They serve Ethiopian food but the injera is not made from teff . The place is big and clean.great service.

Doesn’t have anything related to Ethiopia, such a disappointment

Well, it was a bit odd. It shows up in a Google search as being an Ethiopian restaurant, and it is decorated with such a theme, but this is certainly not an Ethiopian restaurant. Coming from Washington DC, which has a very significant Ethiopian population, I'm well familiar with the cuisine and culture, which was why Lalibela (named for the famous stone churches in Ethiopia) caught my attention. But you will find no Ethiopian food here. This is an all you can eat cafeteria serving pretty traditional Hungarian dishes. Not bad, and inexpensive, but nothing to go out of one's way for.

Not sure why all the positive reviews of this restaurant. Ethiopian food is our favorite and we have eaten it in many places. We visited on a Monday after lunch time and found the food to be disappointing and the atmosphere to be dreadful (playing loud pop music that was in no way Ethiopian in nature). Such a let down after having high hopes from the Google reviews that had been posted.
