Nor can the calm, historical radiance of the monastery be put into words. The smell of the souvenir shop was also a distinct experience. I'm so glad we're gone!

We visited the visitor center with a guided tour. Thus, we learned a lot of interesting things about the Franciscans, the history of the order, the building complex, and the community life.
