★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A usual Lipóti Bakery. It means higher quality than the usual small Budapest bakeries. But this particular shop is sometimes too crowded.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great bakery, one of the best places for kifli - just make sure it is fresh!
However they are accepting cash only; despite the many asks to install a POS terminal this didn't happen.
Really often they don't make enough of some of the more popular products towards the end of the workday (for example kifli). Not even 2 hours before closing time. Not even if many people ask for it and they would be sold out in 10 minutes!
Some of the Lipoti bakeries also offer 50% off around half an hour before closing time, but not this one... They rather sell it the next day even if it isn't fresh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Expensive. No bank card payment is accepted. Unfortunately, this one is not the only "Lipoti" not accepting electronic payments, some of the staff feels like as if it was just normal... A brand with such a wide network of stores simply should not afford the shame. Cash only in 2018? In the centre of Budapest? Seriously?
